a note: Frostop's mug was only put back up a few months ago. The upside-down mug was either intentionally left alone or at least somewhat enjoyed by management (they have shirts with an upside-down mug), so not having updated isn't inexcusable. Naked Pizza, however, has expanded world-wide since rebranding from "World's Healthiest Pizza"

Google Street View showed the world what post-Katrina New Orleans was dealing with. We've come a long way since then, but Street View remains frozen in time. Most of the images in New Orleans were taken in 2007 – five years out of date in a city that is continuously changing, demolishing, and rebuilding.

Street View is one of the go-to ways for outsiders and locals to see an area, and its outdated data hurts local businesses, apartment hunters, landlords, and the general perception of the city. To highlight the changes that have taken place these past five years, we're using this site to juxtapose Street View screenshots and photographs of what the same spot really looks like today.
